Am Mittwoch, 7.Dezember um
18:00 im HXE findet die VeBiS Mitgliederversammlung vom HS 2011
statt!
Nach Tätigkeitsberichten und Präsentationen vom Vorstand
über das vergangene Semester werdet ihr alle mit feinem Fondue,
Weisswein und Drinks versorgt. Selbstverständlich ist wieder alles
gratis - frei nach dem Motto „Brot und Spiele für Biologen“...
:)
Sorry, die Anmeldung ist geschlossen und das Fondue bestellt... (Bei absoluter Verzweiflung hilft aber möglicherweise ein Bettelmail an unseren Präsidenten, Joachim (joachim@vebis.ch)  )
On Wednesday, December 7th at 6pm at HXE the VeBiS General Assembly of HS 2011 will take
place!
After presentations and activity reports by the executive
board on the past semester you all will be provided with delicious
swiss cheese fondue, white wine and drinks. Of course all will be
free – true to the motto „bread and circuses for Biologists“...
:)
Sorry, the registration is closed and the fondue ordered... (In case of great dispair, however, a begging-mail to our president, Joachim (joachim@vebis.ch), might help )

 AUSGEBUCHT / FULLY BOOKED
As there seems to be a high interest in visiting CERN, we will organize another visit in one of the following semesters. 
Für Interessierte Biologen wird am Samstag,
10.Dezember ein Besuch am CERN in Genf stattfinden:
Der Besuch
dauert den ganzen Tag und beinhaltet nebst Hin- und Rückreise auch
ein vom VeBiS gesponsertes Mittagessen, den Besuch der dortigen
Ausstellung und natürlich eine Führung durchs CERN (leider jedoch
ohne den berühmten Teilchenbeschleuniger, da dieser jetzt in Betrieb
ist...).
Bitte unbedingt HIER anmelden, da die Teilnehmerzahl
auf 15 beschränkt ist! (First come, first served...)
Das
ungefähre Programm lautet wie folgt:
* 08:00 Treffpunkt im HB und
gemeinsame Hinreise (Tickets sind Sache der Teilnehmer, keine
Gruppentickets!)
* 13:00 Mittagessen (ca. 15.-, wird vom VeBiS
gesponsert)
* 20:30 Ankunft im HB
(Die bestätigten Teilnehmer
werden dann detailliertere Informationen noch per Mail
erhalten...)
Wichtige Zusatzinformationen (Vorschriften des
CERN):
- Keine Highheels oder offenen Schuhe anziehen

Gültiger Pass oder ID mitnehmen notwendig
- Personen mit
Rollstuhl sollen sich bitte bei mir (christine@vebis.ch)

On Saturday, December 10th a visit of the CERN at Geneva has been organized:
The trip will
take the whole day and includes travelling there and back, a lunch
sponsored by VeBiS, visiting the current exhibition and of course
taking a guided tour through the CERN facilities (although
unfortunately not the famous particle accelerator, as it is in use
now...)
Please subscribe HERE as only 15 places are available for the trip! (First come, first served...)
The program
roughly will look as follows:
* 8am Meeting at HB and joint
journey (tickets are matter of the participants though, no group
tickets will be provided!)
* 1pm Lunch (around 15.-CHF, sponsored
by VeBiS)
* 8:30pm back at HB
(Confirmed participants will
receive detailed information per mail...)
Important additional
information (CERN regulations):
- No high-heels or open shoes
-
Valid passport or ID card has to be brought along
- Persons in
wheelchairs should please contact me (christine@vebis.ch)
