FemTechnology, an initiative bringing together femtech startups, clinicians, researchers, and university students for a 360 degree perspective on inovation in women’s health, holding their events London, Berlin and in Zürich at ETH. This spring, join the lectures (http://tinyurl.com/femtechuniversity) on the 25th of April at HG E5 from 17:30 – 20:30 hosted in person by Roche to learn about early-stage start-up support, research in femtech, and get to network after the following lectures:
- Sabrina Badir, PhD, Founder and CEO of Pregnolia, who will be discussing why measuring cervical stiffness matters in order to identify women at risk for premature birth.
- Prof. Dr. med Susanne Wegener, Senior Physician in the Department of Neurology at the USZ, who will explain why looking at the link between cardiovascular disease and neurology is so important in women.
- Prof. Dr. med Beatrice Beck Schimmer, professor of anesthesiology at the University of Zürich (UZH) and Vice President Medicine at the UZH, who will be introducing the gender medicine institute she is launching at UZH.
- Liliane Brunner Halbach, PhD, Deputy Head TDA at UZH, who will be talking about how to finance therapeutics/ biological innovation in women’s health.
