The Biotikum is our student magazine. In terms of content, it offers a balanced mix of specialist knowledge, club affairs, university life and entertainment. Each issue deals with a topic, which is highlighted by articles from different – biological and non-biological – viewpoints. It is our platform for exam statistics, university politics and information about current events in the student association. It also offers space for personal book, music and recipe recommendations from our editorial team, one or two literary articles and of course our “Puns and Funs” pages.

The Biotikum is distributed free of charge in at ETH and reaches students of biology and related courses such as pharmacy, health sciences, chemistry and interdisciplinary natural sciences.

The Biotikum is currently published twice per semester.

If you were unable to get hold of a copy of the last issue during the lecture, you can either look at the table in the HCI E floor, ask in the VeBiS office or download the PDF version from the archive.

In order to be able to continue to offer the Biotikum in its usual format, we are of course always looking for new members and would be happy to receive a message from anyone interested at redaktion[at]!
