Josephine Mueller

My duties as president include coordinating and leading the board and its meetings (VS), representing the interests of students at the teaching commissions (UK) and departmental conferences (DK) of the D-BIOL and in the specialised association council (FR) and members' council (MR) of the VSETH. In addition, there is the reading and answering of many e-mails and the handling of random things that arise in an association.

Mauro Albertini
Vice President

As Vice President, I support the President and organise the VeBiS General Assembly. As Editor-in-Chief of Biotikum, I write my own articles and the editorial and coordinate the editorial team, from finding topics to distributing the freshly printed Biotika.

Xaver Hanushevsky
University Politics

I represent the VeBiS on the specialist association council, through which I maintain contact with the VSETH board and other specialist associations and advocate for improvements in interdisciplinary matters.

Mario Kunz

I manage VeBiS's assets, ensure that invoices are paid and send invoices to other professional associations.

I also support the other board members in financial matters and help with the preparation and follow-up of events.

Michelle Haberstich

I make it easier to start at ETH with the first day and the godfather evenings. Through the semester feedback, the semester speakers, the block course feedback and the exam preparation courses, I am the first point of contact for all study-related topics. I also organise a festive event every semester: lots of chocolate!

Dominique Imhof

I manage the VeBiS social media channels, take care of adverts on our website and am responsible for our regular newsletter.

Ludmilla Beck

Every semester, we organise many social occasions and events that offer students a balance to everyday lecture and laboratory life. These include, among other things, all of the monthly tribes and the Freshers' Weekend.

Sina Bonel

My committee and I organise at least one legendary huge party every semester together with other specialist clubs!

Kai Bertschi

Among other things, I order the cosy member hoodies from Merchandise.

Désirée Fischli

"Hey, what do you do after your biology degree?" I make sure that no-one gets a 'heart attack' when I ask this question.

With this new department, I want to give our students better access to the industry. To this end, I'm organising career and networking events (e.g. Polymesse) and maintaining contact with existing and new sponsors.

Thomas Zimmermann

As IT board member, I take care of the necessary technical matters (website, mailing list, accounts, etc.) and thus support the other board members in their activities.
