Board

As president, I am responsible for leading the board meetings (VS) and ensuring that the board works well together. I also represent the voice of the students in the departmental conference (DK), the teaching commission (UK), the student association council (FR), and the members' council (MR).

Otherwise, I am the first point of contact for all other matters that do not fall under a specific department.

I represent the interests of the biology students in our umbrella organization, the VSETH, in the Fachvereinsrat (FR).

Together with our delegation, I attend the Mitgliederrat (MR), where the VSETH board is elected and the budget as well as the accounts of VSETH and its commissions are approved and reviewed.

I am responsible for managing the financial resources of VeBiS. This includes preparing and monitoring the budget, settling incoming invoices, and issuing invoices to other student associations.

In addition, I advise the rest of the board on financial matters and support the planning and execution of events, particularly with regard to budgeting and financial accounting.

Together, Emma and I organise a variety of activities related to studying – from semester and block course feedback, PVKs, the end-of-semester apéro, the Industry x Academia event to Götti evening as well as Easter and Christmas events.

Together with Niki, I ensure university life goes beyond theory.

We organize exam prep (PVKs), manage course feedback, and provide career guidance through events like 'Industry x Academia'.

We also foster community with social gatherings, from end-of-semester drinks to seasonal chocolate treats.

I represent the biology students within the Department of Biology.

This includes participating in teaching committee meetings (UK) and departmental conferences (DK).

With this new department, I want to give our students better access to the industry.

To this end, I'm organising career and networking events (e.g. Polymesse) and maintaining contact with existing and new sponsors.

As Kulturi, I organize events and parties together with Antonia and James during the semester — so you can look forward to lots of fun bondings and get-togethers 🙂

I, along with Julia and Antonia, organise fun events that spice up the lives of our fellow students at ETH!

As Kulturi, I organise a variety of events to lighten up the student life. Creating opportunities for us to get together, switch off and simply have a good time. 

As Board Member for Communications and Design, I make sure everyone knows what’s going on at VeBiS. I manage our social media and newsletter to keep members updated about upcoming events and activities.

I also get to be creative by designing VeBiS merch like hoodies, mugs, and other fun things that help show off our VeBiS spirit.

As editor in chief of the Biotikum, I work in collaboration with my commission to oversee the writing and publication of our beloved magazine.

Additionally, I represent the interests of the Biotikum on the VeBiS Board.

As IT Board member I ensure that the Website is up to date and running, as well as handling accounts, permissions and technical problems.
