Every year, during the first few weeks of the new fall semester, we organize the “Götti Evening,” where you, as a freshman, are paired with an experienced student as your “Götti”/“Gotti.” You can ask them all your questions about the Basisjahr, get tips and tricks for lectures and exercises, learn about life in Zurich, and find out about the best campus cafeterias.
With snacks and beer, the evening offers not only the perfect opportunity to turn strangers into familiar faces, but also to network with students at different stages of their studies and to have a mentor to turn to for the rest of your first year.
The dates for the Göttiabend (one for bachelor’s students, one for master’s students) will be announced in due time.
