Board

Autumn Semester 2024

Mauro Albertini
President / Biotikum

My duties as president include coordinating and leading the board and its meetings (VS), representing the interests of students at the teaching commissions (UK) and departmental conferences (DK) of the D-BIOL and in the specialised association council (FR) and members' council (MR) of the VSETH. In addition, there is the reading and answering of many e-mails and the handling of random things that arise in an association. As Editor-in-Chief of Biotikum, I write my own articles and the editorial and coordinate the editorial team, from finding topics to distributing the freshly printed Biotika.

As Vice President, I support the President and organise the VeBiS General Assembly.

Xaver Hanushevsky

I represent the VeBiS on the specialist association council, through which I maintain contact with the VSETH board and other specialist associations and advocate for improvements in interdisciplinary matters.

Every semester, we organise many social occasions and events that offer students a balance to everyday lecture and laboratory life. These include, among other things, all of the monthly tribes and the Freshers' Weekend.

Max Lenhardt
Party

My committee and I organise at least one legendary huge party every semester together with other specialist clubs!

Sean Fraile

With this new department, I want to give our students better access to the industry. To this end, I'm organising career and networking events (e.g. Polymesse) and maintaining contact with existing and new sponsors.

Kai Smith
IT

As IT board member, I take care of the necessary technical matters (website, mailing list, accounts, etc.) and thus support the other board members in their activities.
