Have you ever wondered what it takes to start your own company or how to navigate the switch from academia to industry? Well, we are launching a new event series called BioTalks, which aims at helping you answer those questions. Industry leaders from life sciences, biology and biotechnology companies will host interactive talks aimed at helping students understand necessary career choices and what to keep in mind whilst making them.
In our first BioTalks event, Johannes Schilling, Co-founder and Head of Technology at Athebio AG will speak about his experience founding the company and his life working in industry after completing his PhD. The event will be aimed at being interactive so there should be space to be able to ask questions (talk will be held in English).
The event will take place on the 15th of October and will start at 18:30 in HCI G3. The talk will go for about 45 minutes and will be followed by free pizza and Apero.
